By now you've probably heard us blowing our own trumpet about how we're the best choice of hotel for visiting families! But we genuinely believe it - and with six unique restaurants and bars, nightly entertainment for guests of all ages and an unrivalled range of sports and swimming facilities, why wouldn't we? 

But as much as enjoy talking about the fantastic job we think we do, there's nothing better than when our guests leave us nice reviews on TripAdvisor about the time they spend at our hotel. Especially when those reviews earn us the 2019 TripAdvisor Travellers' Choice Award for the 5th best family hotel in the whole of the UK!

'Truly exceptional'

The Travellers' Choice Awards are the highest honour TripAdvisor can give. It means our hotel is 'truly exceptional' (their words, not ours) and based on the reviews and opinions from millions of travellers, we're in the top 1% of hotels.

As you can imagine, our General Manager, Michael McInerney, was rather excited to receive the award: 

“The team here are delighted. To receive such high recognition from the world’s largest travel website is testament to the hard work we all put in throughout the year.

“We strive to make every one of our guests’ stays memorable. The fantastic feedback we receive on TripAdvisor, plus awards like this one, are a constant source of motivation for the me and team. According to TripAdvisor, 88% of our guests rate their experience ‘very good’ to ‘excellent’. That’s a fantastic number, but until that figure reaches 100% we’ve still got work to do.
