Magic Bars class – Lift your way to fitness!
Magic Bars is a barbell workout for anyone looking to get lean, toned and fit – fast. Using light to moderate weights with lots of repetition, it gives you a total body workout.
You don’t need to have lifted weights before to join this class! Beginners will start with very light weights and increase steadily, so all participants can work out at the best pace for them.
What is a Magic Bars class like?
You'll use a step, a bar and a set of weights, and each part of the class is designed to target a different muscle group so you'll get a great overall body workout.
After a warm up, you’ll perform a range of exercises using the weights such as squats, chest presses, row and deadlifts. You will work though exercises targeting the legs, chest and back, and also the triceps, biceps and shoulders. Some floor work will be included to strength your abdominals and core, followed by a cool down and stretch at the end of the class.
