We have been incredibly grateful for and humbled by the support we have received from the island over the past 100 years. Now, we would like to use our anniversary milestone to give back to the community that has supported us over the past century by offering support to three local charities.

Last year, we asked our staff to select a charity they would like to support. Unable to choose just one, we are proud to be offering support throughout 2020 to three.

Introducing our Centenary Charities …

Holidays for Heroes Jersey

A holiday to Jersey can provide a life-changing experience for servicemen and women.

Holidays for Heroes Jersey offers past and present members of H.M. Armed Forces, with injuries in mind or body attributable to their service, a week’s holiday in Jersey. Included are their partners and children and since the charity started in 2008 Holidays for Heroes Jersey has arranged trips for over 3000 guests. These much-needed and well-deserved breaks provide a lifeline for heroes and their families.

RNLI

A trip to the sea shouldn’t be life-threatening.

The RNLI saves lives around Jersey’s coast. Run by volunteers all year round, and assisted by paid lifeguards in the summer, the charity has served Jersey continuously for over 130 years. The RNLI believe that prevention is the best cure and promote sea safety through campaigns and vital coastal safety education initiatives, offering advice and information on how to stay safe in the water.

Help us to support these charities

One of the ways we have chosen to support these special charities is through the sale of a series of special Centenary items.

Limited edition Ian Rolls prints will be available to purchase, with £5 from the sale of each donated to our chosen charities

And if you visit one of our sites, keep an eye out for our centenary teddy bear, cocktail, house wine and dish. £1 from each purchase will be donated to our chosen charities.

Why not treat yourself or a loved one? You will be helping a local charity!
