More about the Battle

The Battle of Flowers was first staged in 1902. Since then it has become the jewel in the crown of Jersey's events calendar. The floral carnival pits the island's 12 parishes against each other to create the most colourful and vibrant float they can.

Alongside the floats, local businesses, charitable organisations and sports clubs come together for two grand parades along St Helier's Victoria Avenue.

This year's Battle of Flowers takes place on Thursday 8th August with the Moonlight Parade taking place on the evening of Friday 9th August.
