Seymour Hotels Raises £13.5K for Charities to Celebrate 100 Years

02 December 2022

Seymour Hotels of Jersey were delighted to present three local charities with a share of £13,500 in honour of 100 years of service.

The charities were chosen by the team at Seymour Hotels from a shortlist back in 2020, with Holidays for Heroes, the Jersey RNLI and Jersey Hospice Care coming out on top.

In addition to direct contributions from guests, fundraising efforts took many forms, from cuddly centenary teddy bears, to a Seymour Hotels range of wine produced especially for the anniversary. Local artist Ian Rolls was also commissioned to paint a number of our most iconic venues, with a percentage of the prints sales going to the charities.

Business Development Director Matt Seymour commented “We have been hugely supported by our incredibly generous customers and guests. For over 100 years we have been reliant on the support of the community, so its hugely important that we give back and support them. It’s the least we can do.”
