The Pomme is located in the heart of St Helier, and on Thursdays the town hosts a variety of street food vans serving up tasty bites for those on the go.

05 Jul 2017

St Helier is a vibrant, thriving town which hosts many events in its picturesque squares and open spaces. Local businesses, artisans and performers add a touch of colour to the streets, and create a great atmosphere for both tourists and locals.

Street Food as seen on TV

Earlier this month the BBC's One Show highlighted some of St Helier's exciting street life, and during the feature they explored the town sampling a few treats from some of Jersey's street food vendors.

Every Thursday, from 12pm - 7pm, St Helier hosts a selection of street food trucks offering food from all around the world. A short stroll can take you across the globe in less than eighty steps, and with locations dotted around the centre of town, the Pomme d'Or is only a brief walk away!

On Street Food Thursday's you can enjoy the likes of Domingos Mexican food truck, the Pink Panda Vietnamese street food van, Wild Health fresh food stall and Jersey Cupcakes - most of which were on hand to provide BBC's Matt Allwright with a flavour of what was on offer.

To find out what food will be served on the streets this week, visit the St Helier event's Facebook page.
