Before the Battle, how about brunch?

01 Aug 2018

On Thursday 9th August at 2.30pm, floral float creations from around the Island will descend on Victoria Avenue for the annual Battle of Flowers parade. The Battle of Flowers is a must see event, and The Café Bar at the Pomme is the perfect place for a spot of pre-battle breakfast, brunch or lunch.

Begin the Battle with breakfast

Just a short stroll from Victoria Avenue and the festivities, the Café Bar is home to fresh local favourites and a selection of classics from around the world. Breakfast is served from 7am - 11.30am so you’ll have plenty of time to order, eat and have a wander around St Helier before the Battle gates open at 1pm. The Café Bar serves all your breakfast favourites in a fresh and refined style.

Plenty of time for Lunch

Lunch is served from noon, again giving you lots of time to take your seats before the floats start their voyage at 2.30pm. Our lunch menu is full of delicious hearty meals that’ll keep you going well into the afternoon. From brilliant burgers to our famous fish and chips, you’ll find something to please every Battle goer.

Dinner before the moonlight parade

The moonlight parade takes place on the evening of Friday 10th August. Each float is illuminated, and Victoria Avenue becomes a sea of colour and light. Before this breathtaking display a spot of dinner always goes down well, and once again the Café Bar is best placed to provide that all important pre-Battle meal.

Served from 5pm, our dinner menu has a fantastic range of meat, fish and vegetarian dishes. Service is always quick and friendly so you can be in and out with plenty of time to nab a great viewing spot along the avenue.

See you at the Battle!
