An air display brunch at The Café Bar

31 Aug 2018

A few weeks from now, a spectacular celebration of aviation will fill the skies above St Aubin’s Bay. The annual International Air Display is once again set to entertain spectators lining Victoria Avenue.

From the famous Battle of Britain Memorial Flight - featuring a vintage Lancaster bomber accompanied by superb examples of the fighter planes that would have protected it in action, the Supermarine Spitfire and Hawker Hurricane - to helicopter and fighter jet display teams, every year the crowds leave exhilarated and enthused.

A great spot for a quick bite

With thousands of people gathering for the display and Victoria Avenue closed to traffic, attending the display can be a logistical challenge, so it's worth making sure you're within walking distance of Victoria Avenue in good time for the start of the display at 1pm on Thursday 13th September.

Positioned on the Esplanade, overlooking Liberation Square, the Café Bar at the Pomme is the perfect place to enjoy a quick bite before for the planes take to the skies.

If you’re hoping to get a jump on the crowds, brunch is served until 11.30am giving you plenty of time to make the short walk to the avenue. If you’re not in too much of a rush, join us for lunch from 12pm. The Café Bar menu is packed full of freshly prepared breakfast and lunch classics from around the world.

To avoid disappointment, we always recommend booking. Just call our friendly reservations team on +44 (0) 1534 880 110 to reserve a table.
