Extension to Hotel Closures and Plans for Opening

Extension to Hotel Closures and Plans for Opening

20 May 2020

Updated 20th May 2020

After 100 years of successful trading by the Seymour Family, interrupted only by WWII and the German Occupation of Jersey between 1940-45, you will be aware that we have had to close our doors to our customers and guests for the very first time.

This closure is temporary, but has been extended and will be in effect until at least 30 June 2020. We will keep you up to date via email where possible if we need to extend this time period. Meanwhile, we would like to offer you the option to amend any bookings for arrivals up to 30 June 2020, to anytime in the future, in any of our properties up to the end of 2021.

We are prepared to hold this year’s rates for all existing bookings (a supplement may apply according to seasonality). We are now accepting new bookings for 2021 which can be booked online or by contacting one of our team who will be happy to help.

Our teams have been busy behind the scenes preparing for the future and working on plans to welcome all our guests back in to a safe environment. The priority has always been the health and safety of our guests and teams and our Safe Stay Pledge outlines 8 key measures we are taking. We’re still shaping exactly what the ‘new normal’ will look like and will keep you updated with key developments.

In the meantime if you have an existing booking with us, please contact our reservations team on 0845 800 5555 or email:

Pomme d’Or Hotel -
Merton Hotel -
Greenhills Hotel -

We ask for your patience and understanding during this challenging time as many of our team are still working remotely. We look forward to welcoming you back to one of our properties and the beautiful island of Jersey soon.

Stay safe & keep healthy.
Best wishes from all at Seymour Hotels of Jersey
