What's on in July at the Merton Hotel

July is just around the corner and for the Merton Entertainment team that can only mean one thing - GO TIME!

Every single evening during the month of July, much loved local acts and stars from further afield will grace the Star Room stage.

Rock Rhapsody - Every Friday night in July

From 21.30 in the Star Room

Blow away the cobwebs after a long week and start your weekend the right way with this hour long battle of rock hits! Expect a loud, energetic performance of songs from some of the greatest rock bands of all time including Queen, Bon Jovi, Oasis, The Killers and more.

Theatreland Showstoppers - Every Monday night in July

From 21.30 in the Star Room

Who says you can't go out on a Monday in Jersey!? Pop down to the Star Room and enjoy an all-star local cast as they perform some of the best-known songs from the West End and Broadway's biggest shows.

Comedy Sundays - From the 15th July

Our extremely popular Comedy Sundays return from the 15th July. Kicking off proceedings is a man who had his big break in front of Simon Cowell and Britain's Got Talent Judges - Steve Royle.

Steve's brings his unique brand of zany comedy and madcap juggling antics on the 15th of July at 21.30.

Following on from Steve we'll welcome the following comedians:

22nd July - Josh Daniels

Josh is best known for his comedy songs and hilarious parodies. Pop along for guaranteed giggles from the prince of parody

29th July - Lee Lard

A special evening for the Star Room as we welcome back one of our best-loved acts - Lee Lard. His tribute to Peter Kay always gets the crowd in stitches and we can't wait to see him back on our stage.

If you've ever spent an evening at the Star Room, you'll know how much we love a tribute act. And in July we've pulled out all the stops to get a few of our all time favourites back to the Merton.

3rd July - Joe Harriett

Soulsational vocalist Joe Harriett will be taking tothe stage this Saturday and performing some of your favourite Soul & Motown classics.

17th July - Nya King as Whitney Houston

The sensational Nya King will be back in the building on Saturday 17th July performing all of Whitney Houston's greatest hits.
