Introducing the 'Secret Merton'

There's always so much going on at our hotel that it's hard to make sure every activity, facility and restaurant gets the attention it deserves.

But fear not, because this blog celebrates the lesser known parts of the Merton!

They're the parts that go unnoticed by many, but for the guests who take advantage of them, they can turn a good holiday into a great one. 

Live piano in the Lobby Bar

Each evening guests can unwind with a cool drink and listen to live piano music, performed by one of our three supremely talented pianists - Martin Coxshall, Rex Moss & Julie Millow.

These evenings are a great alternative to the entertainment in The Star Room, so if you want to relax in comfort with a cool drink, head to The Lobby Bar from 7.30pm.

Georgie's Crèche & Playroom

A little treat for our littlest guests. Georgie's Creche offers a two hour play session for under fours, and the perfect opportunity for mum and dad to get a couple of hours quiet time for a meal at Bonetti's. 

The Commentary Box Sports Bar

Tucked away at the top level of the lounge area you'll find The Merton's very own pub. It's the perfect place to catch sport on TV, and you can even enjoy a quiet game of chess up in The Commentary Box. 

Top tip: Feeling hungry during the match? Grab something from Bonetti's takeaway menu and enjoy it in The Commentary Box.

Children's early dinner

With all the activities your kids will be doing, they're bound to get hungry. So from 5.30 - 6.15 The Belvedere hosts a children's dinner, featuring a specially created buffet packed full of all their favourites - and plenty of healthy options! 

Summer BBQs

From 22 July - 24 August, if the sun is shining, we'll fire up the BBQ and serve tasty flame-grilled food for all the family to enjoy. With prices starting from just £8.25, this is the best cheap eat in town.
