Lobster back on the menu at Greenhills

Summer's here, and local Jersey lobster is back onto our à la carte menu.

As our regulars know, Head Chef Lukasz Piestraz and his team love to use the very best local ingredients in our dishes. Lobster, along with hand-dived scallops and line-caught sea bass, are often considered the highlights of Jersey's seafood offering.

The sweet, delicate and juicy meat hidden in the tail and claw is a treat for chefs to cook with, and for guests to enjoy. For our dedicated lobster menu, Lukasz and his team have devised four very different dishes. 

Tempura Lobster

This Asian-inspired dish features half a local lobster in a light tempura batter, two hand dived scallops and a fragrant red curry sauce, served with sticky rice and flavoursome pak choy. 

This isn't your traditional take on local lobster - definitely a dish for adventurous diners.

Lobster Salad

This dish is a little more recognisable to local lobster fans. Half a lobster and Greenland prawns served on a bed of heritage toms, artichokes, avocado mousse and freshly dug Jersey royals, topped with a traditional Marie Rose Sauce. 

A classic.

Lobster & Chips

The fanciest of fish & chip combinations. This dish combines half a lobster, grilled in garlic butter, with chunky chips and a homemade cherry tomato ketchup. Simple yet delicious. 

Guests can add three tiger prawns to really take this fish and chips to the next level! 

Lobster Thermidor

Our take on a French classic combines half a locally caught lobster with a rich, creamy sauce, topped with potent, crispy Cheddar cheese, and served in the shell with basmati rice and wilted spinach.
