A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Sous Chef to join our team at the iconic Pomme d’Or Hotel. We are keen to hear from professional, skilled and energetic person who has a passion for food, experience within the hospitality industry, and the ability to effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

 

Your role will involve:

  • To assist the Head Chef with kitchen procedures in line with company policies, implementation of menus and all other aspects of kitchen management
  • Effectively manage the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef
  • Develop, motivate and inspire your colleagues
  • Ensuring that the kitchen runs smoothly by optimising the use of materials and manpower
  • To maintain that all kitchen operations fall in line with COSHH, HACCP and other food hygiene regulations

 As a Sous Chef you must have:

  • At least 2 years experience in a similar role in a 4* hotel
  • To be passionate and positively spirited about all food
  • Experience of working with multi outlet operations
  • Mature leadership and teamwork skills
  • Well developed organisation, administration and IT skills
  • Loads of energy, ideas and enthusiasm
