For 2012 we have a new concept of gathering walks
under two titles:
'Forever Walks',
a themed suite of walks for 'a lasting memory to
hold forever'.
These walks are designed to catch the imagination - enough
detail to like, but no detail not to like.
'The Classics' are
specific information walks that fit the title of the walk
exactly. These walks have proved their
popularity over time and become classics for many of Seymour
Hotel's returning visitors.
The tours encompass natural history, marine life and
Jersey's fascinating folklore.
Pete Webb is a historian, Blue Badge
Guide and Chairman of the Jersey Tour Guides
Association (JTGA) , who has been through a rigorous process
to test his local knowledge, before being given this
prestigious award.
It may interest you to know that Blue Badge Guides are
celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Institute of Tourist
Guiding, when it was officially recognised by the
House of Lords as the Institute of Guiding Training on April 18th
2002, and the Blue Badge for Tourist Guiding is now recognised as
the highest guiding qualification in Britain and
Jersey.

Hotel. There is a nominal fee per person for each walk.
