Here, the life of living from the sea and its shore-line, is
explained on the intertidal zone of Jersey - its last true
wilderness.
The Beach Safari is where Pete explains tides and the unique
inter-tidal sea life, from the myriads of colourful shells to
fishing for razor-clams, plus a visit to the oyster beds.
Discover, too, sea spiders, solar-powered worms, anemones and
sea hares as we wend our way across the rugged seabed where as much
as forty feet of water can cover the area at high tide.
Easy walking: wet sand and gravel, can be wet up to knees
Distance 2½-miles
