Jersey's strong heritage of fishing goes back centuries. It's a history filled with intrigue and adventure, including the 16th century pioneers who ventured seasonally across the Atlantic ocean to join the fishing trade off the coast of Canada.

Today, the superb seafood found in local waters is still an important part of our island life. Alongside idyllic beach walks and summer sea swims, the wealth of fresh fish and shellfish is cherished and enjoyed by islanders as part of a healthy diet.

Keeping up the tradition

Known throughout the island, the seafood buffet at the Harbour Room celebrates Jersey's seafaring traditions, drawing locals and visitors together to enjoy some of the finest flavours of the deep.

Enjoy a four course meal for just £35.00 per person (no extra charge for guests staying half-board). The freshly prepared buffet includes gambas, mussels, crab claws, oysters, gravlax, langoustines, whole dressed salmon and much more.
