Willkommen! It's Oktoberfest at the Merton!

The Bavarian celebration of beer returns to the Merton Hotel this autumn with two evenings filled with merriment, competitions and a stomping musical performance!

On October 6th and 7th the Star Room will play host our Oktoberfest, welcoming guests in dirndl and lederhosen to an evening celebrating traditional German folk culture, with plenty of blonde beer and delicious food.

Ein wundervolles Fest

Included in the evening’s ticket is a buffet serving delicious Bavarian cuisine - just the thing to soak up the selection of German beers available from the bar.

After the meal the bravest guests can take part in the yodelling and beer drinking competitions, with great prizes on offer! And if that's not enough, the Jersey Beerstompers will be on stage from 8.30pm.

Gute nacht und guten morgen

After the eating, yodelling and merriment, there's no need to make a dash for home. You can book an overnight stay at Merton for the special price of £30 per person, sharing a twin or double room. Wake up feeling refreshed in one of our comfy rooms, and complete the recovery with a wonderful breakfast or a morning swim in the Aquadome, before making the most of the new day.

Tickets are £29.50 per person including the German Buffet meal. This event is strictly 18 years and over.

Don't forget to dress for the occasion with Dirndl for the girls, Lederhosen for the guys - or any kind of traditional German gear you can get your hands on.
