Make it a big day at the Big Gig

Thousands of islanders will be gathering in St Helier's Howard Davis Park this Saturday 15 July, to enjoy the sights and sounds of the Sure Big Gig in the Park.

With gates opening at 3pm, it's going to be a long, fun-filled afternoon and evening, so you should make sure you're fully fuelled and raring to go by heading to the Merton beforehand for a hearty meal at Bonetti's or a snack in our Lobby Bar.

Start the Big Gig at Bonetti's

Just five minutes walk from Howard Davis Park, the Merton is perfectly positioned for a pre-gig meal and with two options to choose from, you're sure to head off to the concert fully satisfied and ready for an evening of superb entertainment.

Bonetti's is the Merton's classic Italian restaurant, offering fantastic lunches from 12:30pm all the way through till 6pm.

Take a look at our daily lunch menu which offers something for everyone. Seafood fans will enjoy our 'spigola', a beautifully grilled sea bass. Alternatively, meat lovers can choose from something as informal as a peppered mozzarella burger or BBQ bourbon chicken burger all the way up to a more substantial sirloin of beef.

Of course, no Italian restaurant would be complete without a range of pizzas. At Bonetti's, we offer four Italian classics that will keep you going throughout the evening.

It's lighter in the Lobby Bar

If you prefer something a little lighter, then the Merton's Lobby Bar is the perfect choice for concert goers. Offering afternoon snacks and light bites in a comfortable and spacious setting, the Lobby Bar is a great place to stop off before heading on to the Big Gig.

As well as light bites, the Lobby Bar offers something for the sweet-toothed among us. Our fabulous range of cakes will test your strength against temptation and if you're a fan of tea, then why not indulge in a Jersey cream tea and scones before the music starts?
