Tea at Greenhills is a trip through time to the days when afternoons were spent sipping tea, enjoying cakes and chatting with friends.

Afternoon tea is also a time for relaxation as you leave your cares at the gate to sit amongst the plants and flowers of Greenhills' beautifully designed garden, seemingly in a different world to the one on the other side of the fence.

Perhaps most importantly, tea is a time for strengthening friendships and family ties through conversation that flourishes without the distractions of the world outside.

Tea for all occasions

Afternoon tea at Greenhills is an experience that everyone should enjoy. Served seven days a week, from 2pm Monday to Saturday and from 3pm on Sunday, you can choose from our range of speciality teas or stick to the traditional and refreshing loose leaf Birchall tea that's been designed just for such occasions.

Of course, we serve Jersey cream teas with the the very richest and tastiest Jersey clotted cream and freshly baked scones, but if you're looking for something a bit different, then you should try our Afternoon Teas for Two.

The ultimate indulgence

As well as the tea of your choice, you and your companions will tuck into our range of traditional summer sandwiches that include cucumber & dill, ham & English mustard, smoked salmon & cream cheese and egg with chive mayonnaise.

This is, however, an afternoon of indulgence so sandwiches are followed by cream scones with jam and a selection of fresh, home-made cake and pastries.

As you can see, there's a lot more to afternoon tea at Greenhills than first meets the eye and with prices starting from £5.50 per person, it really is an experience that everyone should enjoy this summer... Just make sure you're fully prepared to indulge!
