A feast for St Patrick

25 Jan 2018

The emerald isle offers a rich culture full of folklore, natural beauty and centuries-old cooking traditions. Drawing upon this inspiration, our talented chef Lukasz has put together a special menu to be enjoyed on the day of Ireland's patron saint, St Patrick.

Iconic flavours of Ireland

To begin we have a selection of dishes packed with classic Irish ingredients and strong flavours, including smoked salmon, ham hock and seafood chowder.

To follow we have more iconic flavours of Ireland, from succulent Irish rib eye steak served with a Guinness jus to roasted salmon fillet accompanied by Champ potatoes, bacon and cabbage.

For afters, we have been inspired by a pearl of Irish wisdom:"What butter and whiskey will not cure, there's no cure for." You can't go far wrong with butter, cream and liquor! Savour our bread & butter pudding with wonderful whisky sauce, or perhaps try our delicious Irish apple pie with Baileys custard.

Celebrate with us

This year St Patrick's Day, March 17th, falls on a Saturday, providing the Irish - and indeed the rest of the world - with a whole weekend to celebrate St Patrick with plenty of dancing and merriment!

We hope you can join us at Greenhills for our very own celebration this St Patrick's Day. Our Irish-inspired menu is only available on 17th of March, so don't miss out!
