Castle, Guns & Caves

The wild, northwest corner of Jersey is endowed with the exhilarating gorse and heather covered area of Les Landes. On a clear day, it’s panoramic sea views show off our sister Channel Islands and the distant French coast.

Descending to one of Jersey’s beautiful bays, we explore many large and magnificent caves that cut deep into the pink, majestic, granite cliffs, and discover their origin and magnificence. Our visit, then, takes us to the ruins of a 14th century castle, a refuge from raids during the 100-year’s war.
