Behind Enemy Lines

The World War Two scenario for Jersey was the near five year long occupation. The Island became the nailed fist of the German Atlantic Wall and life became unpleasant for the Islanders.

This special 2009 tour behind enemy lines shows you the bomb blasted harbour, Jersey’s own "Dunkirk" with the last little boat still surviving. The German railway line that transported the materials used for the infamous Channel Island’s Atlantic Wall. The prisoner of war camp and the bravery of the Islanders in the face of adversity
