Beach Watch

This tour offers a gentle experience of birdlife and marine life along the Royal Bay of Grouville at different tide levels.

Since the year 2000 Jersey’s has coveted this rare Ramsar site of International Importance where we will enjoy a fascinating insight, not only to wildlife, but the vagaries of Jersey’s tides and their danger. The topography of the Beachwatch area is also revealed in its long-time heritage. Exploring the beach at different tide levels exposes much over this three hour period, but to wait for the lower level tide we explore the La Rocque hinterland that offers a totally different world.
