Beach Safari

One of the most fascinating tours for you to enjoy; it takes you into Jersey’s last wilderness. This is a Jersey Ramsar site of international importance that allows you to discover the unique marine life that inhabits Jersey waters. Know the amazing experience of walking on the seabed, where at spring high tide (once a fortnight) as much as forty-feet of water covers the area.

You will also enjoy learning of tides, wildlife on the seashore, how to catch prawns and finding out exactly where they live. Learn the old fishermen’s way of catching razor fish. Discover sea spiders, anemones and coral worms and don’t forget we shall also visit the oyster farms.
